Shouldnt of been built in the first place . They ruined AZ with all the dams they built . One of the reasons why Phoenix and Tucson are such shit holes now . They both had a natural river going through them at one time . Historical society has a picture of a steamboat cruising along near Phoenix .

On the other side of the coin ……………….people dont seem to be exercising any self restraint . They are still driving around , burning gas , burning up the road , with unnecessary travel . Like the pandemic , and depression is not around the corner . High prices , should be a clue to stay close to home , and stop jetting around , like everything is A OK . Judging by the number of out of state plates , you would think everything is peachy . Will it take $7.00 per gallon , for people to start , at least thinking about staying out of their car ? We have the power to make things worse for ourselves that way , and it looks like we are willing to keep it up , until we are forced to entertain ourselves a bit closer to home , or learn how to entertain ourselves , without leaving the house . Kind of like how people did , back when not every man , woman , and child , had a car .Kind of sucks , but we are going to have to start relearning some things as this goes on .

I knew a guy back in the late 90’s that went to retire in Mexico . He did that , because the cost of living in the US was too high . He was in the right mind set for that , he was learning Spanish , and was getting pretty good , before he left .
