Yep, James M……that’s creepy!
Unbelievably, I had someone knock on my door today! DH and dog had gone to the forest to play for an hour. I was trying to see who was there and if I could see vehicle. We don’t actually have visitors anymore cause our friends from here have moved or gotten too old to climb stairs to our 2nd story house. Ack! Then a woman’s voice called out our names and I opened the door. It was a part-time neighbor up here we’ve known for years…..concerned that my goat was free-ranging in the ditch. [that’s where the new grass has already begun but ….best she’s not ON the road]
So…..it points out one thing we never have gotten around to: install a peep hole in door. Cannot see someone at the door and ….I didn’t hear her come up either. [yes, I don’t hear quite as well…hmph!] But I was in the back room. Too weird that this happened right after posting last nite. I can’t remember the last time there was a knock on our door.
OldMtWoman ….don’t ask if I had the doggone door locked. I rely on dog too much.
