What would our “enemies” have to gain using an EMP attack? Absolutely nothing because the USA has enough military power at sea (both above and under water) and in foreign bases that an attack to the continental USA would bring a retaliatory response large enough to destroy completely NK and Iran, reduce most of China to ashes and seriously damage Russia. So, as a result of their attack, the USA would be sent back to the dark ages, they would be sent to hell.
The simple idea cited in the article that and EMP attack would not be considered by the USA enough to respond with nuclear weapons is totally ridiculous. Guess the author never paid attention to the nuclear doctrine which is way more liberal than the one of other countries.
