James, you’re right. The world is changing and the USA is still living in the delusion of being a great empire. We blame others for our faults and we live above our means, thinking that all is due to us. We still think that the we are the shining city on the hill but we have lost all the moral integrity. The empire is collapsing and like every empire before the collapse start from within. I do not think there is much that can be done to save us but the more people learn the lesson, open their eyes to the reality of things, and regain the humility that is a necessary part of life, the more hope there will be that we will be able to rebuild a better society on the ruins of the collapsed empire.
