Greetings! From the ‘Inland” PNW! We always thought that if TSHTF, that feeding the Mothers and Children first is important! We think we should all help each other work through our challenges, (better choices with more brains working through things…) but we in our area have noticed that there was a decided ‘separate-ness’ happening because of the “social” organizations of politics, religions, etc. We have suggested (to various peoples ‘in charge’ of such organizations) that in a real SHTF scenario, we would Have to All work together, regardless of their rules or beliefs! We usually get an agreement, but always first from the women, (moms usually,) they are the first to work together in a crisis, (since most of these organizations are ‘predominately patriarchial’ by nature, where the women are considered important but not the chief decision makers it seems. Oh how ‘society’ has changed!) People are People, and it is that simple, if TSHTF we will all be needed, and no time to ever waste on “philosophies”. We will Help each other, in spite of short-sighted or limited attitudes!
