If someone wants to seek employment with a company that share that someone’s values, I’m OK with it. What I am NOT OK with is a company bullying or threatening their customers into modifying the customers behavior due to the company’s values and beliefs. Case in point is the software company currently notifying retailers that the retailers can no longer use their inventory software if they sell AR15 rifles. Paypal refusing to conduct transactions involving firearms because those who run Paypal are anti-gun. Some credit card companies cutting off firearms retailers and denying those retailers inclusion in that particular CC system for firearms sales. I think its extortion. If you don’t do as we want we will harm you financially. What if a company decided that white people were all racist and bigots and were harmful so the company will no longer do business with white people? There are those who already think that way, unfortunately. How about a company whose board believes Christian churches teach hate and division so the company ceases all business relationships with them. Sounds outrageous, but look whats being done to Chick-fil-a on state/taxpayer supported college campuses and at some airports in denying Chick-fil-a from opening up a restaurant due to the owner’s Christian faith.
We are already further down the rabbit hole than most know.
