Both California and New York could be good examples of what the real results are when little tyrants in state government who think they are there to do the thinking for everyone else and attempt to squash individual rights. Both passed state laws to throttle ownership of “assault weapons”, requiring registration of those owning them. Articles I have read place citizen compliance at 5% to 15% only.
