Interesting simulation of ” the big one ” . All that is left of California are the northern mountains , becoming islands . It will also take out a bit of southern Oregon , and bit of Baja Mexico . Arizona will be ocean front . If it does drop , it is expected to drop fast , no time for any evacuations . Almost impossible to predict  , thats nature for ya .  The tidal wave caused by California dropping below water level suddenly , will cause damage rushing inland , before it recedes , than the obvious of loosing land mass . Now body clean up will be a Herculean task , the floaters will be washing up for months . Then the oil spills , and other contamination , of every sort and description . Years of clean up and containment . Oh damn !  No money left for foreign wars .
