Can’t blame “gun free zones” anymore. Texas and NM are two of the most heavily armed states around in terms of citizen carry, and the gunman decided to proceed despite that environment. If I were carrying there, I’d have run too unless I had really solid cover, and not just clothing racks and drywall. A rifle is nothing to sneeze at.
