Corsaire,You are right about the ground saturation. It will make it a lot easier for trees to fall, power lines going down and flooding. We are watching it close now. As it looks like it will cause a lot of rain for us. Not sure of wind yet but looking like we could be in the 10 inches of rain part of VA. Won’t hit here until Friday from what I have heard so far but subject to change. We are not in a flood zone. Florida will still get the brunt of it but don’t think it will be as far inland as was thought earlier. It will have 150 mile an hour winds and that is very close to a cat 5. They have already started saying on local news to pick up yards of anything that could be blown because it being a weekend and everyone will be off work. We don’t work now so just watching for now.
