Blizzard in the winter and in the summer a drought which would lead to lots of wild fires.
Will I be likely to lose electricity if this emergency happens? Winter blizzard – Possibly. It has happened in the past but power was restored within a couple of hours. I’ve never experienced a power outage more than 12 hours.
Will I have running water? Yes
Will I be able to purchase more food and supplies or will I have to rely on what I have already? For the blizzard I would rely on what I have already. I live on a hill and wouldn’t want to try and drive down and back up it. I’m in town and the closest store is less than a mile away so I could walk if necessary.
Will I have to evacuate? Blizzard – No. Wild fire – Doubtful.
Are there any members of my family who will be particularly affected? No.
