We prep for hurricanes and ice storms. Apropos today, dontcha think? Yes, we are VERY LIKELY to lose electricity during a hurricane
Will I have running water?
Yes-We are on city water and it always runs. (Have a natural gas hot water heater too! HOT SHOWERS!)
Will I be able to purchase more food and supplies or will I have to rely on what I have already?
I will not have to purchase anything.
Will I have to evacuate?
Not likely.
Are there any members of my family who will be particularly affected?
Oh yeah! My husband has back issues and watches TV most of the day. He will be grumpy not having tv. Our grandkids live with us. They will need entertainment! I have coloring books, crayons and colored pencils, reading books, blankets for forts, and flashlights for nighttime!
