I use knives all the time when cooking. The one I cut meat with, I call the cleaver. It is a very large deep knife. I use it when I am cutting up a lot of beef. I do have a couple of folding knifes in my bob and I keep a pocket knife in purse. DH has a fillet knife he uses to filet fish. I also have a boning knife for deboning chicken. I used that one when I was cooking dinner tonight.
