You can open carry any knife.
Box cutters, multi-tools, and other work knives are legal to carry concealed.
In most cases, conceal carry of a common pocket knife with a blade of less than 4 inches is legal.
Concealed carry of nearly any knife is not allowed without a permit if the blade is over 4″ in length
Folder knives to be on the safe side, because they really arent weapons. Basic Florida law is you cant have weapons concealed.
And its up to the courts.If you are out fishing and have a long knife in your pack, well that probably would be ok. Going to a party with a bunch of thugs….well you are busted.

Sate statute number 790.01 defines a weapon to be “any dirk, knife, metallic knuckles, slingshot, billie club, tear gas gun, chemical weapon or device, or other deadly weapons except a firearm or a common pocketknife, plastic knife, or blunt-bladed table knife.”
Now what is a “common pocket knife, thats pretty much up to the courts.
