Day 13 – Survival show.
We have the CD set of “Good Neighbors.” I love it. Living in the city and yet trying to be self-sufficient brings huge chuckles, and they make it entirely do-able. I really wish I could get the series Jericho on CD. Will need to look for that.
Recently we watched “The Day after Tomorrow” and I felt cold throughout the movie. Living in MN, it would be very realistic to have to move through the deep snow and below zero temperatures. We have good gear for that. Could use some facemasks though. Snowshoes would be helpful, too, during the winter if there were no snowplows. At my brother’s place, on a lake, snowshoes would be a huge benefit.
I really enjoy the Kilcher family and how they make do with everything. I learn a lot from them about how to garden and preserve and make things from scratch.
