Lot of people were up in arms over the idea of a travel ban. Think of the last Ebola case that showed up here in the states.
Can you imagine the outrage if it were suggested to close the borders even if it meant keeping those infected out? That is racist!
Depending on the incubation period, a travel ban could be too late.
