Reason his numbers are bullshit 50 percent of pig 8n world in China official number is 70 percent dead, real number probably in the 80s. Even at 50 percent it is at 25 percent of the pigs in the world.. not counting any other country. At end of this if they can’t get vaccine for it which I doubt as possible due to nature of flu as name one year they got it right in humans since begining of vaccination program?
It means pork will become a rarer commodity for years, even if they got vaccine now it would take china 6 years to rebuild herd, and remember the farmers who lost the pigs will be bankrupt and their skills will be lost as they find other work. Atleast infastructure will remain if china stops developers from changing it to other types of use and they may have to build clean farms as we don’t know much about this strain of flu.
