It is true that when you pour to much cement around waterways, etc. there is no where for that water to go. Therefor you have flooding. Right now I am surrounded by water on 3 sides. We are not in a flood zone. But now that the city has decided to make our area like VA. Beach we are going to be in trouble. This used to be all country, now gone rural area, soon to be a town dumped on us. So with 3 Rivers, we will see flooding. Does this have to do with climate change or the green climate or what ever they want to call it. NO. They just need to learn how to build in a way that the water has a place to go when it rains and during hurricanes, etc. when rivers and oceans do rise.
