I want to say Merry Christmas to everyone here. And A big thank you to Daisy for all you do to keep this forum going.  Have learned quite a bit here and all thank all our members for that.

Went to help out with the food ministry this morning. We gave out food to 45 families in need.  Lots of food went out of our pantry this time. We almost emptied the shelfs. So we have one month to get it restocked for the 3ed Thursday in Jan. Our church is small and cannot support the food ministry, so we depend on donations from our members as well as the food bank that we work under. So far it has worked for us. But food is getting more and more expensive. Just praying that God will find a way for us to keep it going.

When I got home. I was planning a trip to Harris Teeter grocers. DH wanted to go with me again. That is a good sign as he has not been able to go anywhere and walk for 4 months. If he can keep that up, it will help him to get stronger. He wanted some strawberry ice cream and he usually doesn’t have the wants. So last time it was grapes and this time ice cream. So he is sitting in den eating his ice cream now.  The walk through the store tired him out a bit, so he will nap a bit while watching TV.

I will be cleaning house and washing clothes the next 2 days and then on Monday I will be getting food I can prepare ahead of time started. So yes, Monday and Tuesday I will be baking and cooking. So everything will be ready on Chirstmas.  We will have about 14 people here all day Christmas. All family. So good times rolling.

Grannyj Smith, I know what you mean about how things will go in America. I don’t think the 20/20 election will end well. And with inflation on the rise, I really have decided not to worry about it as there is nothing anyone can do to stop the train wreak. So I have decided to do a great deal more Bible reading and praying for our country and our president.  Dark days are ahead I’m afraid.  Just do what you can and keep praying for the right answers as to how to deal with it and prep for the right things to stay afloat.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
