Merry Christmas to All.

We are at my Ex’s lake home for Christmas with daughter/son-in-law, their three sons, and 4 International Students.  There are five College Men now, from Viet Nam, China, Thailand, and Afghanistan, and include our college freshman, they range from 18 to 30, undergraduates and grad students.  It was amazing to watch the reunion yesterday.  TO see pictures when our GS#2, who is now 6’4″ was short and they were tall.  The first International Student and the last, the oldest and the youngest.  To watch the four of them interact, and realize the connections and memories, just made my heart swell.  Family is what you make it and I am very lucky.

We planned a menu for the week.  Everyone is cooking at least once with an eclectic international menu.  I have three assignments and one of my G’sons will help me each day to learn how to make family favorites.

There are major changes this year with some students moving back to home countries and others moving back to be with us.  To watch how they interact, leaving politics out of it, warms my heart to see what our future could be.

On the home front for our country, I hope the next year is not as divisive as it seems to be shaping up to be. We need to understand what the greater good is and work toward that with open minds and hearts, working for the best for the most people.

I hear major health issues for Little Sister’s DH.  I will pray that you find the answers and/or the acceptance.

For those with little ones, Enjoy their wide eyes and simple joy.

I am listening to Christmas music, watching an Asian Hot Pot being created by four heart-bonded young men, Their interactions, hugs, and teasing have me fighting tears because my heart is full.

We are very lucky here.  May the next year be the best for all of you.Love, From Cinnamon Grammy.
