Wow, I agree, we don’t need an article to tell us that we’re not living it up. 😀
We’re lucky to have an affordable mortgage in a good neighborhood. Its been a struggle at times to hold on to it, but we’ve managed to keep up and stay on top of it. Thankfully we grow some of what we eat and it helps immensely. They keep saying how we’re getting back to normal but I’m still looking for my $60k a year job to come back that I lost during the bubble burst. I think for some, the crisis hasn’t exactly ended yet.
