One of my sons is an “essential” worker, grocery manager. He is at risk because he has asthma. My DH,  I and his wife are worried but he assured us he is ok and is taking precautions. He’s had to send two of his workers home for the duration as they are in the 60-80 age group per store policy right now. He also had a bit of a scare last week, one of his younger workers had to go home sick, turned out she had Strep not the virus. Has the all clear from her Doctor and is now back to work but we’re still worried about him and everyone. Had a bit of fun this morning, had to pick up DH’s scripts (doc changed some of them) and some milk, fruit. Got there at 7 am, the time for the seniors to shop. Got yelled at by a little old lady, said I shouldn’t be there as I wasn’t old enough to be there. Had to whip out my DL AND birth cert to prove I’m 65. Her hubby told me I must have some really good genes after he kinda yelled at her. Told him yeah and I have some really good slacks at home too (ala Groucho Marx). That got everybody laughing. My grandmother never looked her age either. She passed in her nineties but only looked like she was in her seventies.
