When all is said and done , at the end of the day , its still a 22 , that wont go through both sides of a cinder block . Damn right I would take the 39 over it . Not like the Warsaw pact didnt make its mistakes either . The Czechs came up with the 7.62 x 45 , far superior to the 39 , but Moscow poo pooed it , because they didnt want to re-chamber and re standardize . Conscription is now a two edged sword . After Vietnam , it blew up . Basically what the supreme court said was : Congress has the right to raise an army ( the draft ) , However , the only constitutional reason for congress to need an army , is if we are at war ( formally declared war ) .
