Okay, wait a minute. They have listed Asymptomatic – defined as those who won’t get officially “sick” but have virus shedding. And PreSymptomatic – defined as those who have it and are about to become aware that they have it….also virus shedding.
BUT….there is also the category of ones who have gone thru COVID and are now well. Aren’t THEY the ones with the antibodies? Since it’s very mild symptoms for a large percentage, especially in the pre-70s age group, wouldn’t all these folks with ANTIBODIES be the good guys? The ones who begin our so-called Herd Immunity? Wouldn’t we all want to be one of them?
Yes….still a LOT of questions: How well do these antibodies protect from a second occurrence of COVID? How long will these antibodies give a person immunity? Is it for decades like measles or merely weeks/months like a cold?
Anyway, I found this article to be confusing….and yes, I agree. Testing is still extremely unreliable as yet. Unfortunately.
