For meat shortages go to local pig and chicken farmers  buy live and butcher yourself hog only needs to hang at 4 c for a 24hours day till the the rigamotis comes out and you can butcher. Lots online hoe to butcher a hog.

 

You can get them cheap and maybe even a hand  doing it at farm. Just skin them not worth trying to dehair with scalding a lot more work unless you are set up for it

 

Bring cheese cloth or clean linen to wrap as  plastic garbage bag even for a few hours can cause bone rot to happen .
