Whoa, @crowbar and it looks like the North East and midwest is getting hammered yet again.

My sauerkraut survived week 1. I gave it a taste test. It was a tad salty, but that could have been just the top where I needed to add more brine. Otherwise it tasted like a sweet kraut. Its in the wine cooler for week 2 after which I taste it again. I am going to start on another batch as soon as my Juniper berries arrive. My go to online shop was out of everything I needed. So instead of ordering that one spice, I went elsewhere to get everything.

Meat shortage hasnt hit here yet, so I picked up more bacon. Discovered Mayocoba beans and boy are they tasty.
