The state of Wyoming passed a law making it legal to buy meat direct from the producer. Meaning that I can go buy half a steer from a local rancher, no FDA interference, no BS.
Protections for farmers markets also were passed a while back.
Buying local, buying American may come to mean something again.
And if it cuts out the middlemen and extra taxes and expenses, so much the better.
