Opened and tasted my sauerkraut today as its week 3, the optimal time for fermentation. It tasted great. I started another batch today with Juniper berries. Cabbage was on the dry side so I am not sure how this will turn out.
Found an unused Nesco dehydrator at the thrift store. Jerky packets were dated 2017, so it probably was sitting in some ones garage.
Its been raining quite a bit, which is fine we can use it.
Tomatoes are almost ready. Pimentos still need to ripen. Eggplant is doing fine.
