The first two I can get behind but the 17th amendment stays.
The people elect their representatives, otherwise the very notion of balance of power will honestly and truly be gone. It will become a cult of I wants and to hell with the people. Whoever gives the biggest incentive check, gets their wishes granted.
What we have now isn’t perfect, but there is an opportunity to vote someone out if they no longer do the job they were elected to do in the first place. If they are brought in by their golfing buddies, or their family members, we would all be in trouble.
