I understand it’s purpose in the beginning. Our country was much different then and it served a good purpose but things have changed. Now there are factions of people who are twisting elections, gerrymandering voters, completely upsetting the balance so that they are always winning, always in control, always in power. The courts are finally starting to stand up to this, but as long as there is a way to rig the system, they will do it.
