I’m in! I have a feeling I’m going to be doing a lot this month anyway!
today the toilet seat broke at the hinges (only a month old) so I had to fix an alternative my elderly Mom could handle until I can get to the hardware store tomorrow.
I took the seat and cover off of the toilet.
I pulled the Prepping toilet from downstairs and modified it a bit to fit over the existing toilet. Learned about a new tool: ratchet wrench
Had to find something heavy to bolster the base so it wouldn’t tip: went with sandbags.
F/U questions: If your toilet lid and seat break beyond repair in an emergency situation and you have family/group members that can’t do a toilet squat, do you have a stand by seat?
