Yesterday I went out and bought a 1 kilo bag of pasta, dated it and put it in my moisture & rodent proof bucket. did the same with a 1 kilo bag of white sugar.
This morning I have started putting together a winter emergency kit for the family vehicle, and as an extension of such, started knitting a large blanket that will be kept in the SUV in case we ever get stranded. (It can get as cold as -40 up here, so you never know when a blanket might come in handy!)
