Expecting a snow storm around 6 or more inches starting this afternoon, so I did a quick inspection this morning. This is the first major snow ice storm of the season, so I just wanted to double check
The only thing I needed to do this morning is fill the wood circle beside the woodstove. I have wood stacked near the house, but I don’t plan on going outside during the storm. The chainsaw has plenty of fuel and started right up. I am charging the cordless chainsaw. The SUV is full and winterized.
I probably have enough cash on hand, but I am headed out to the ATM to get some more cash. I read the Emergency Funds thread here and reassessed my cash on hand.
I have plenty of water, food, meds, etc to get me through this and more. No rush to the grocery store unless I want to get some special ingredients to try out the breadmaker that I bought yesterday at the thrift store. If it’s not busy, I will stop and grab some items for the bread machine.
Thus is why I prep, no rush to go to the grocery store. I have enough supplies to last through the winter and more.
Maybe during the storm, I will continue on the unpacking and inventory. Next is pet supplies.
