While I was cleaning the freezer I found a couple of big baggies with chicken bones so for the last two days I’ve been crockpotting them, along with a bag of veggie scraps that I found frozen as well. I have two HUGE bowls of stock in the fridge right now that I’m going to scrape the fat off of tomorrow and then can. I should have at least 7+ quarts worth. If there’s any left over I’ll boil it down to almost nothing and put in a container back in the fridge and once it’s jellied I’ll cut into squares, put on a plate, freeze and once frozen I’ll pop them all into a baggie, so easy to just grab a couple and use when you need a flavour boost. Ice cube trays work well too.
