I just registered this (Sunday 11/10) morning but I read about the challenge last week and began with skills/preps on Friday (11/8). Here’s my breakdown:
Friday (11/8) Filled water containers at Glacier refill station ($0.35 per gallon & obtained 24 gallons; $8.40 subtracted from monthly “Preparedness” budget envelope.
Saturday (11/9) Pulled out 13 pounds ground beef from deep freezer to pressure can today (Sunday 11/10); Started red onion flats for new raised bed sqft garden (build was started as normal “new house-new location-start over plan” prior to challenge).
Sunday (11/10) About to start home canning 12 pints of ground beef to have on shelves—part of food preparedness for power outages and “what’s for dinner, Mom?!” daily emergencies! 😏
