Today I went through the car and truck emergency backpacks in preparation for winter driving. The car”s is just a “slide-off/stuck” kit while the truck’s is pretty much a “get home bag”. Needed to change out food, medical stuff with expiration dates, and also updated some of the equipment in each. That project required a trip to three different stores but got pretty much everything I needed. Some of the food stuffs were bulk dehydrated foods so I broke it into equal amounts and then vacuum sealed each with our Food Saver. Still some more work to do on the truck’s kit but will finish it up tomorrow.
Nice afternoon so took the pooch on a two mile hike through the forest. (Got to get the legs ready for ski season)!
