Nov 1- I read an article from Jim Cobb’s magazine Prepper, “It’s the End of the World.” The article talked about doomsday throughout history, pandemics, volcanoes, EMP, and other things. Lots to think about. Nov.2- I finished reading Yellowstone Inferno by Bobby Akart. It is a series about Yellowstone erupting and how 2 people survived. Nov 3- worked with friend on start of a new greenhouse. Nov 4-. I moved leaves over the fence to decompose on bad soil. Nov 5-  A package arrived with butane cylinders for my butane burners.  Nov. 6 Election Day. We voted early so if things got crazy (and they did with massive voter turnout) we wouldn’t be caught in the mess. Nov 7-  Replaced batteries in 2 6 volt lanterns and 2 D cell flashlights. Nov 8-  Went to meeting with a group of like minded people. I knew several from other meetings. We talked about several different subjects as we ate dinner. Nov.9- read from Urban Emergency Survival Guide. Followed news about fires in California. Tried contacting family in fire zone. Nov.10 Message from family, we are alive but house is probably gone. I picked up more meds from pharmacy. also bought more band aids. Nov. 11 I looked for composting toilets on line. I found a recipe for bread using cranberry sauce. Will make some soon.
