I missed a day or two so here is a catch-up. A local butcher shop had chicken breast on sale so we bought 80 pounds for $1.00/lb. That is frozen until I can find time to can it. I made a big batch of laundry soap. That will last us for months. The herb bed is mulched and I still have pumpkin to can. We have earned a “free” turkey from a local grocery store so I have to pick that up and at some point, it will be canned.
