Today I worked on my protection items and made sure all were clean and in safe places in case they are needed. Had time to work on a shelf in my safe that has been an issue and was able to make it work. Yes!
Got a couple of walkie talkies ready to place in my car for preps. These are very low level line of sight units but may come in handy if cell phones did not work but could be used for only short distances. I have my Ham radio amateur expert license and do have a handheld device that I can take with me also. Here in Astoria, Oregon, we have a couple of repeaters that are solar and batter backed up in case of emergency.
