This is always a crazy month. The transition from fall to winter always teaches me something new about my preps.
I haven’t had a lot of time on here because of a class I am taking but here is what we have been up to since Friday.
Friday, we did the switchover in our BOBs and added hand warmers, winter gloves, outer and base layers.
Saturday, we prepared the garden for winter and moved pots to the greenhouse and put row covers over winter tender annuals so we could continue to harvest.
Sunday, we erected an new compost bin to start with winter leaves.
Monday, I am retrofitting work trucks and gear for winter. Added mylar blankets to the first aid kits.
