Yes, Amy Dixon, that is the link.  It’s a long link and the blue highlighting doesn’t seem to want to include the whole link.  Thanks for trying.  Thank you also for your contributions to Elderly/ill care items!!! I made a copy of that list to add to mine.

So here’s the “back door” for that medical resource link …. [cuz we preppers ALWAYS have a back door…]  😉   If you want the Alton’s book, it’s available in paperback thru Amazon for just under $40.  If you want the free PDF…..Google “Dr Joe Nurse Amy PDF“.  One of the options should be to the link we can’t seem to post.  While you’re at it, go take a look at their site.  All about medical, esp. in a post-stuff-hits-fan situation.  I’m not in any way associated with them but I did audit a suturing class when they were “in town” once.

As for today, I’ve been reviewing/updating my major prep list.  I decided to organize it under PRIMARY, SECONDARY, and TERTIARY.   Tho NO ONE’S Plan A is to evacuate, we’ve been under wildfire danger so many times that I’ve got quite an emphasis on it anyway.  And the Camp wildfire news is creeping me out!   🙁

So my list of Stuff is divided into  PRIMARY:  This stuff is the very basic and very mobile.  Ensures I have SOMEthing to address shelter/clothing, light, water, food, tools, business[I.D., certifications, deeds, ins.papers, etc], and all my other 12 categories.  At least the very basics in each category.  And it might have to fit in my pockets/pack…..if worst comes to worst.  [this part of LIST makes me itch…just thinking of good stuff I’d have to leave behind!]  😮

SECONDARY involves the exact same categories but would include more & better.  As in the case of being able to EVAC with our vehicles loaded.  So….what, beyond the PRIMARY list, would I also bring? Secondary is the more durable equipment [too heavy perhaps to move fast] and/or more quantity.  Mountain house packets and cans instead “lifeboat rations”, for example.

TERTIARY would be for a situation where I’m SIP or able to really load up most of what I have.  Prep stuff would still be the most important and this list helps me not to forget anything.  [bitty house/stuff crammed all over] Included here would be buckets of grain …..as well as Secondary- Mountain House and Primary- lifeboat rations.

I highlight things-still-to-be-purchased in YELLOW.  Like an ice machine that I could refill coolers by using the inverter in my vehicle to run it.

OldMtWoman …with a brain leaking data…and I keep stuffing it back in!!!
