Here I go again, this time type innotepad before transferring in here.
Found out Monday that my cousin misbehaved at the hospital, he has Vascular Dementia at 53 years of age. Made me think that I need to be ready for anything for him. I’m responsible for him, am the one who got him the help and services he badly needed. So last night’s bout of insomnia was productive. Found a shelter near four facilities where he could be transferred. This will help ensure that I can get to him any which way. I made a list of friends close by as well, just in case. All contact information has been renewed. Woke up to a phone call telling me that the level of care he needs is now evaluated as higher, so change of facilities. Good thing I was ready to 1-face those facts, 2-relay needed info to the nursing team, 3-not panic. I had already included the location in my plans for shelter.
Reprinted some profile templates for each family members and group members. The missing information will be filled during the holidays as well as new photos taken. Because there will be at least 20 of us at my parents’place, I’m drawing a plan of the house and the land with the strategic locations, plus indicate who sleeps where, where to go get dry wood, water, supplies etc…
Right now, I’m getting cozy in my livingroom, wanting to stream survival shows while my chickpeas and broad beans are soaking. Listening to the strong winds hitting my windows and door, sooting me better than any lullaby could.
