#oldmansd I loved the pictures of the quilts. The quilts are beautiful and will hopefully be family heirlooms. I treasure my two quilts made by my Great Grandmother.
Expecting over 9 inches of snow starting late today, so this morning I double-checked the winter storm preps. I also started my big snowblower. All is ok, so I can sit here and enjoy the snow.
All the posts about Xmas got me thinking. I had a nice chat with my step-mother. I have gotten her enthused about prepping. I am blessed to have some lots of extras on certain things, so for Xmas I am going to share the wealth (extra books, toiletries, lanterns etc) with her.
After reading the posts, I also started a box of supplies (mostly canned goods near expiration) for the food pantry here. The thrift store I shop at helps support the pantry, so I also started a box of extra clothes etc.
