CB, I had a shipmate (now passed) who lived in Dannamora, NY. While alive he kept me updated on the weather up there over the winter. I always told him to sell that damn place and move on down here. But, he loved it.
My newest DIL is from upstate NY. Beautiful girl with French-Canadian ancestry. She and my son now live near Surf City, N.C. and she would never move back.
