Today wasn’t a really exciting prepping day. Got batteries at Costco – also some extra chicken for the freezer. Swept the kitchen and the bathrooms. Vacuumed the house. We’re supposed to have wind and rain this evening, we’ll see how much we actually get. My prayers for the Northeast right now, it looks so very bad on television. Husband is from Minnesota and I’m from New Jersey so we understand bad weather. Out here in the Pacific Northwest we don’t get much snow, in the lowlands at least. We haven’t had more than 2 inches of snow in 4 years, and that was followed by two days of rain. We’ve had two serious storms, and got through them with lots of determination & plenty of preparedness in advance.
