<h2 class=”user-nicename”><span style=”font-size: 80%;”>@xdewit, yes, I would be happy to!  I take about 3 cups of pinto beans (use whatever kind you like), add a clove or two of garlic and a small onion (for flavor), and bring to a boil on the stove.   As soon as the beans start to boil, I put on the top container (it fits into the larger container), and add about 3 cups of rice and boiling water.  Salt to taste.  After 12 minutes, remove from heat and let it cook overnight.  In the morning you’ll have rice and beans ready to pack into someone’s lunch.  If you soak the beans ahead of time, you of course would not need to boil them as long.  How’s that for a non-recipe recipe? 😉 </span></h2>
