Beautiful sunny day today after miserable rapid drop in temps with 2″ about snow. Discovered my Generac Generator is sick again and trying to decide what to do. It costs an arm and a leg to get the Generac service guy out here (rural area) and I’m just not sure whether to keep repairing this thing or not. Moved my effort at growing a winter garden outside under a clear container inside a shed and am thinking to try grow lights. I really like fresh spinach and lettuce but getting to town is a real challenge and hate to ask others to pick up for me. Some of the challenges of being 80 years old, living in the country….but it’s where I want to stay as long as possible. Bought a package of face mask at the dollar store today. Seeing Californians wearing them durig heavy smoke made me think, “why not add these to my emergency supply stuff in the car.” Never know when something like that might come in handy. Had my handy man move my rain barrel to a better location. Appreciate all the great ideas I’m getting from others in this forum.
