Drove 180 miles to my sisters house in Canada to celebrate her birthday. On the way on the back roads my car announced that one of the tires was low on air. Just had the winter tires put on yesterday. I figured that is was something minor, which it was, but couldn’t help but think what I would do if it was a true mechanical problem. The spare is one of those tiny tires to get you to the next service station, only in this case the next station was a long, long way away!! Made it safely there and will head back home tomorrow.
Very glad that I refreshed the emergency pack in the car last week. I had food, water and warm clothing if I had to hang out on the road for any length of time.
