On Saturday, I finished inventorying and organizing my medical preps. I have a first aid kit (including super glue, quikclot, and a small trauma kit) on each floor of the floor of the house. I have a huge wish list of items to acquire.
This Sunday morning, I practiced my snow shoeing. I am putting cross country skis on my list. I have seen them at the thrift store. I will research a bit more and pick up a serviceable set.
After reading the posts about lights/power out, I double checked my flaslights and lanterns to ensure that with lights out they are accessible in all parts of the house. I added one lantern to the basement walkout sliding doors. I enjoy reading the posts; they are also very useful.
