Thanks HieronymaT, PeppyP, LovinLife for kinds words. Today I seem to be back on track for healing and it’s such a relief. DH works today so I’ll be doing PM chores. Woke to frosty fairyland this morning 🙂 and now the sun is out.
OldSkiBum…that sounds like you were prepared for your road trip going bad…tho thankfully it wasn’t too bad. THIS is why we are who we are! Safer. Calmer. Ready…more than most folks, anyway! 😉 Also Lee’sHomestead with your lights-out. These “dress rehearsals” are annoying but are so enlightening [no pun intended]. lol In our arid climate, I can’t even put lamp oil into the lamps…it dehydrates to a sticky gum.
Enjoying reading everyone’s adventures in prepping….and life. RdLucai….your report is distressing tho. In wildfire country…I hope you can get adequate transportation very soon. 🙁 We also have the LISTS that are according to how much TIME we estimate we have before we must leave. People first. Animals next if possible. Business and I.D. type paperwork ALWAYS at-the-ready for a Rip-N-Run. Glad your friends got out but their lives will be so very tough while they reestablish everything! Ach..these wildfires! 🙁
